Anthony Ray Edwards, “Tony”, age 47, drifted from this world and his family in the wee hours of Monday on March 5, 2018.  His wife, Kristi Bartola-Edwards, woke at 4:20 in the morning, when the alarm clock rang the wakeup time with music, to find her husband had passed away in his sleepduring the night.  He was a kind man, a human with a loving and endearing soul.  He was the type of man who would give you the shirt from his back if you needed it.  He has a childlike fun-time about him.  He loved his stepchildren as if they were his own.  He loved his boys and missed them greatly.  Though his life was filled with the curve balls, which life is famous for, he faced the curve balls head-on.  Tony was a loving husband, father, brother and son.
He leaves behind his widow, Kristi, and his stepchildren Hanna (16) and Noah (21).  He also leaves behind hisclosest loving sister, Elizabeth LaCroix.  His other siblings, who mourn the loss of their brother, are James Koppenhaver, Michelle Boner, Michael Koppenhaver, and Scott Koppenhaver.  Tony also leaves behind his sons, Josh Edwards and Todd Edwards, with two grandchildren, Nevaeh, and one on the way, and their mother Radell Allgaier, of Drums Pa., from a previous marriage.  Tony’s grandmother, Doris Koppenhaver, (93) has also survived him.  Also, he leaves behind an aunt, MaryBeth Lockneyand an uncle, Andy Riccelli, both of Warren, Ohio and cousins Mathew Lockney, Amber Lockney, and KennethLockney, also of Warren, Ohio.  His parents, his mother Karen Sue Koppenhaver and Stepfather Michael Koppenhaver, both of Pottersdale, also succeed him.  He also leaves behind many other nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. As per Tony’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.  However, there will be a memorial service, which will be set by his widow, Kristi.

I only got to meet Tony a few short months ago. He was a joy to be around and I always looked forward to the next time we would meet up.

Kristi, if there is ever anything that you need, please don't hesitate to call me. It was an absolute pleasure being around you both.
