Martha (Jones) Rinehart

Martha Ann Rinehart, 90, of Broad Top City, passed away at her home on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Born in Broad Top City on February 14, 1933, a daughter of the late William and Verna Irene Jones.

She was a faithful member of the Broad Top City Church of God for 75 years where she was the Church Council Secretary and Treasurer, Sunday School and Youth leader for over 50 years, Director of the Christmas Musicals, D.V.B.S. Director and Teacher, Camp Yolijwa coordinator, Member of the Golden Girls, and the St. Jude's Bike-A-Thon.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Glenn "Fibber" Rinehart and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are daughters, Patty, wife of Tim Maslanik, and Vickie, wife of David Lashinsky, grandchildren, Julie, wife of Cameron Kendrick, Betsy, wife of Patrick Snyder, Nichole, wife of Sam Carberry, Trevor, husband of Erin Lashinsky, Carrie, wife of Greg Strayer, great grandchildren, Brent Kendrick, Breana, wife of Steven Niebauer, Alex Snyder, Matthew Parks, Brittney, wife of Cody Greenawalt, Dalton, husband of Cori Carberry, Kaitlyn Lashinsky, Austin Lashinsky, Lucas Strayer, Cooper Strayer, Regan Strayer, great great grandchildren, Parker, Layne, Bentlee, Carsyn, Kayde, and Henry. Also surviving is Keith Stevenson who was raised in her home.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Broad Top City Church of God. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:30 with Neil Stevenson officiating being assisted by Pastor Ron Wilson and Pastor Jeff Musser.

Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City.
