Perry C. O’Neal, 73, of Athens, Ga. Formerly of Channeysville, PA. passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Legacy Nursing Home.
Born on April 8, 1947 in Bedford, Pa. a son of the late, Marvin LeRoy and Emma Elizabeth (Hasting) O’Neal.
He is survived by two daughters; Elizabeth E. (O’Neal) Towe of Athens GA, and Kassie A. O’Neal of Everett, PA. a son, Michael C. O’Neal of Colbert, GA. One brother, Victor W. O’Neal and wife Carolyn of Honey Brook, PA, one sister, Rebecca E. (O’Neal) Camp, wife of Steve, of Conyers, GA. As well as 7 grandchildren and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Hasting and LeRoy K. O’Neal, two sisters, Juanita M. (O’Neal) Spence and Edith M. (O’Neal) Wilson.
He had worked at Blue Triangle Saw Mill in Everett, PA. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Wells Valley United Methodist Church in Wells Tannery, PA. with Pastor Paul Snyder officiating. Interment followed in the Wells Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery.
