Tommy Leonard Neville, 76, of Saxton, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Pittsburgh.
Born in Broad Top City on May 22, 1944, a son of the late John H. and Marjorie V. (Black) Neville.
On June 14, 2002, he was united in marriage to Cynthia Louise Neville who survives at home.
He was a 1964 graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and then served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
His employment was as a service tech at Tri County Petroleum and he was a member of the Watson and Black American Legion, Post 126 where he had previously served as the Post Commander.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie (Neville) Roth, wife of Dean, step-daughters, Erin Byrom, wife of Jon, Carla Jackson, wife of Greg, Megan Phennicie, wife of Brandon, grandchildren, Liam, Kai, Keara, Teyla Byrom, Xavier and Zander Phennicie, which were the apple of his eye. Also surviving are sisters, Agnes Neville, Joan, widow of Earl “June” Diehl, Wanda, widow of Fred Pederson, Caludia, wife of Jim Brindle, brothers, Gene, widower of Janet Neville, Dan, husband of Colleen Neville, Bill, husband of Cindy Neville, and John Wayne, husband of Sandy Neville. Other survivers include Mike Neville, husband of Karen, and Vicki Miller who were reared in the Neville Home, and a sister-in-law, Dena Neville.
Preceding him in death along with his parents are brothers, Robert “Cook” Neville, Herb Neville, and Denny Neville, a nephew Troy Killian, and a niece Tommi Ann Morningstar.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Raystown Brethren Church at 11 AM with Pastor Alfred Chamberlain officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City.
Those in attendance will be asked to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC, The state of Pennsylvania, and the church regarding Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Raystown Brethren Church, 8753 Raystown Road, Saxton, PA. 16678.
