Roger Allen Barton of Wells Tannery died unexpectedly November 9, 2013.
Born in McConnellsburg, PA on December 3, 1954, he was the son of June (Winter) Barton & the late Clair Barton.
He is survived by his mother, June, his wife Deborah, three daughters,  Kerri, Kirstie, and Kesha, a son Kyle, and granddaughter,  Alea Jade. Also surviving is his brother, Randy & wife Lindy, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Clair & a sister, Joy (Barton) Dixon.
Although he was well known for being a jack of all trades, Roger was a carpenter by profession and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local Union 0214. Considered an anchor by his wife & children, Roger was a great father & grandfather, a loving husband, and a loyal son. He will be greatly & sincerely missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace.
A Memorial gathering is to be planned at a later date.
