 Blair B. "Trooper" Brumbaugh, 68, of Saxton, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the James E. Van Zandt Medical Center in Altoona.
Born in Huntingdon, PA on March 8, 1948, a son of the late Doris (Cypher) and Blair  Brumbaugh.
On December 26, 2009, he was united in marriage Judy (Wilson) Brumbaugh at the Stonerstown Church of the Brethren.
He was a 1966 Graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and was a member of the Stonerstown Church of the Brethren in Saxton. Serving in the US Army he did two tours in Vietnam as an MP and then worked as a Lineman at Local Union #126 for 40 Years
He was a member of the Saxton VFW and loved restoring cars especially his 1973 Challenger, going to the drag races at Maple Grove and Beaver Springs, rescuing animals and loved children.
Along with his wife, surviving are a son, Mark, husband of  Tammey (Swope) Brumbaugh, two step daughters, Donna and Nicole Matthews, a step son, Darrin, husband of  Crystal Wilson, a sister, Doris "Mimi" Kelly, a brother, David Brumbaugh, daughter-in-law Brenda Brumbaugh, grandchildren, Victoria, Jacob, and Maddison Brumbaugh, Nicholas Matthews, Nicholas White, and Kendra Gibson. as well as special nieces, Melissa Watkins and husband Brian, and daughter Alyssa, and Jennifer Skipper, wife of Tommy and family.  He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew T. Brumbaugh.
Friends will be received on Friday from 6-8 PM and again on Saturday from 10-11 AM at Stonerstown Church of the Brethren. .
Funeral Service will be held at the Stonerstown Church of the Brethren, Saxton, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, October 8th,  with Pastor Scott Criswell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. P.O. Box 214 Broad Top City, PA 16621 to assist family with final expenses or to the ASPCA.
