Patricia Lee (Oswald) Decker, 77, of Wood, PA formerly of Collegeville, PA. passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Phoenixville, PA. following a lengthy illness.
Born in Huntingdon County on December 29, 1939, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Moffat) Oswald.
She was a member of the Watson and Black Post 126 American Legion auxiliary and the Captain Phillips Post 4129 auxiliary and was the past president and current vice president of district 17 auxiliary and was active with the Broad Top Area Honor Guard. She was a graduate of Conastoga High School and retired from the Sharp Corp. in Conshohocken.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Rick Decker, Sons Jesse Whitson, husband of Linda, Harry Whitson Jr. husband of Penny, a daughter, Karen (Whitson) Owoc, wife of Walt, brothers, Michael, John, Theodore, husband of Cheryl, Sister, Judith Oswald and companion Loretta, a brother-in-law, Jack Decker, husband of Diane, as well as 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cicilia (Oswald) Hinkle, and Katherine (Oswald) Spitko, two brothers, Thomas “Butch” Oswald, and Charles “Edward” Oswald, a son, Harry “Derber” Oswald, her first husband, Harry Whitson Sr., and 2 sister-in-laws, Mary Jane (Brumbaugh) Decker and Bonnie (Ramsey) Oswald.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 1 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Steve Oberman officiating. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Grandview Cemetery, Saxton, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Watson and Black Post 126 American Legion, P.O. Box 66, Broad Top City, PA. 16621.

All the members of the VFW AUX POST 4440 extend our deepest sympathy for your loss. Pat was a great lady and a wonderful district president. We always enjoyed her visits to our post. She was always there to help us with anything we needed . She will be greatly missed. RIP.

Rick and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Pat was a friend from when I was younger and I've always loved the way she kept busy and the way she never gave up. Rest in Peace, Pat. You will be missed by so many.
