Steve was one of my very first friends, having met him when I was around 5 years old. We spent a lot of time together as young boys, but then after moving, we didn't really see each other much again until high school, but it was like nothing ever changed. He was always funny, and friendly. He was a very "spirited" guy, and "told it like it was," even if that sometimes got him in trouble. I'll forever carry several big memories provided by Steve. I was very saddened to learn of his illness and thought if anyone could be it, it would be Steve. Instead, God chose to call him and leave us all saddened. Rest in peace Steve, and prayers for your family.

My deepest sympathies to all, especially Lexi, his pride & joy because Steve was a friend to all, family to many and someone that has always been there through thick and thin. He'd give you the shirt off his back, his last dollar. Now the skies will be a little brighter, the thunder a little louder and the clouds a little whiter because you are in Heaven my friend. It's not good bye, it's I'll see you later, until we meet again.

I was Gram to Steve and he was like a Another Grandson to me. There are several rooms in my house that when I walk into , there are things on the wall that were gifts from Steve, or repairs that he made for me are reminders of what a good heart he had. It is a sad day for me but I know you are no longer in pain and are in a better place, Rest in Pease Steve, you will surely be missed.

My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this time. I have many memories of hanging out with Steve and the many shared laughs.. One memory that will always remain is when Steve would pull up beside the town cop and ask him if he wanted to race and then take off as fast as he could.... He will be missed.
