Laura Jane Territo, 93, of Robertsdale, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at AristaCare in Huntingdon.
Born on June 24, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Leonard K. and Mabel C. (Saylor) Crotsley.
She was united in marriage to James Territo on July 28, 1946 in the Asbury Methodist Church in Eagle Foundry, PA. After 71 years of marriage Mr. Territo preceded her in death on November 5, 2017.
She will be remembered for her many years of service as the post master replacement in the Robertsdale post office. She retired at age 83 from the position in 2008 after 26 years on the job.
Her family and friends will miss her coconut cream and lemon meringue pies which were the highlight of every holiday dinner. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley, PA.
Surviving are children, Charles J. Territo, and wife Jacqueline of Naples, FL, Michael Territo, and wife Ann of Potters Mills, PA, and Perry Territo of Robertsdale. Also surviving are grandchildren, Charles J. Territo III, and wife Nicole of Scottsdale, AZ, and Brandy Keith of Meeker, OK, great grandchildren, Ethan and Justin Keith, Bianca Camile Territo and James Rider Territo, Sisters, Ruth Baker of Huntingdon, Marcia Snyder of Hesston, Helen Curfman of Cassville, Sara Hinkle of Saxton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Waite and two brothers, Ivan and Robert Crotsley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley, PA at 11 AM with Father Marino Msigalo officiating.
Friends will be received on Tuesday August 27, 2019 at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. in Broad Top City, PA from 6-8 PM and again on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to mass.
Interment will take place in the Ave Maria Cemetery in Dudley, PA.
