Thomas O. Dickson, 81, of James Creek, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 22, 2019.
Born in Johnstown on January 15, 1938, a son of the late, Thomas and Hazel May (Hodgeson) Dickson.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Lynne Dickson, a daughter, Susan Houser and partner Keith Davis, a son, T. Scott Dickson and wife Diana, a sister Ellen Dickson, grandchildren, Hannah Carr and husband Spencer, Karah Dickson, Jay Houser and Cy Houser, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Ferndale High School in Johnstown, was a veteran of the US Navy, and worked as a microwave maintenance technician. He was a former member of the Saxton Sportsman Assn. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building custom flintlock rifles.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 1 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Friends will be received from 11 AM until the service at 1PM.
Interment will take place in the Newburg Cemetery.
Military honors will be conducted by the Broad Top Area Honor Guard.
