We had the privilege of meeting Kathy through our daughter in law and her parents. She was one of the sweetest persons we have ever met. When we traveled to Pennsylvania to see our family, we would usually get to visit with Kathy as well as she was part of the family. She even traveled to Maryland a couple of times and shared her wonderful personality and just a true compassion for anyone she met, especially the little ones. Our sincere condolences to her family and to her great friends, Kathy and Jenn and their families. She will truly be missed and our hearts are broken. Rest in peace Sweet Lady. I had the privilege of knowing Kathy and teaching many years with her at Defiance Elementary. She loved her job and the kids. She was a great co-worker who helped me tremendously in my early teaching years. She had such a huge and kind heart. My thoughts and prayers to her family during this difficult time.
