Amy Grace McGahan, 76, of Little Valley Road, Saxton, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Born in Aitch on December 26, 1944, a daughter of the late Cloyd Howard and Carrie Belle (Norris) Rhodes.
She had been employed at the Cove Shoe Factory and then retired after 30 years from Marada Erie.
She loved embroidery, Puzzles, Quilting, Roller Skating, Western Movies, Bingo, Cookouts, Bowling, Gardening, Traveling, Fishing, Cooking, Dons Pizza, Dog and Suds Root Beer, Country Music, Oldies Rock and Roll, going to the Jamboree in the Hills, and her children, grandchildren as well as all her family. She was also very proud to have earned her GED.
Surviving are a daughter Carrie D. McGahan and fiancée Andrew Richardson, sons, Wilbur E. McGahan Jr., Cloyd A. McGahan, Joda A. McGahan, 9 grand children, 17 great grandchildren, siblings, Clair Rhodes, Roy Rhodes, Pearl Rhodes, David Rhodes Sr., Tommy Rhodes, Charles Rhodes, Elda Smith, and Clea Rhodes. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Margaret Ickes, Cloyd Rhodes, Lula Rhodes, John Rhodes Sr., and Dean Rhodes.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11 AM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Huntingdon.
Anyone in attendance will be required to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC, State of Pennsylvania, and the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
