Anna (Lucas) Gracey

Anna Lucas Gracey, 92, of Robertsdale, passed away at her home in Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Born in Rockaway, NJ. On April 16, 1930, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Benco) Lucas.

She was a 1948 graduate of Robertsdale High School. Following graduation she went to work for New York Electric and Gas in Ithaca, NY, then later to Thompson Products in Harrisburg, PA. and later at Claudia Footwear in Wood, PA. Following the birth of their second daughter, she became a homemaker, enjoying cooking, canning, and baking. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandsons. She attended the Robertsdale Church of God where she taught Sunday School and Bible School for over 30 years teaching preschool age children.

On November 28, 1959, she was united in marriage to Gerald Fred Gracey who preceded her in death on November 23, 2004.

Surviving are daughters, Kimberly, wife of David Ross, of Pittsburgh, Karen, wife of Martin Edgin of Three Springs, grandsons, Matthew Edgin of Union Bridge MD, and Cameron Edgin of Three Springs, sisters, Margaret Wright, Ag Lucas, Libby Zelanko, and a brother, Paul Lucas.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, John and Andrew “Pete” Lucas, sisters, Helen Lucas, Ethel Lucas, Pauline Hicks, Mary Grasser, Barbara Sodano, and Susan “Pookie” Gracey.

Friends will be received on Tuesday January 17, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 Noon with a funeral service immediately following at 12 Noon, with Pastor John Bennett officiating at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. in Broad Top City, PA.

Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
