Anna May (Darr) Putt, 86, of Saxton, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown.
Born in Saxton on June 13, 1938, a daughter of the late Spencer and Verna (Aller) Darr.
She was united in marriage to John E. Putt on April 18,1959 in Cumberland, MD. Mr. Putt preceded her in death on April 14, 2021.
She was a 1957 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School, was of the Brethren Faith, Enjoyed BINGO, cooking, and loved her children and grandchildren. She was primarily a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Raymond, William Michael, and Bryan Putt, a daughter, Marcy Putt, grandchildren, Ryan, Elizabeth, Britany, Marcus, Matthew, Sarai, 9 great grandchildren, sisters, Mary Diehl, and Emma Burke.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandchild, a sister, Donna Wolf, brothers, Edward and George Darr, and a daughter in law, Melissa Putt.
Services are to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the donors choice of local fire department or church.
