Audrey Jones Obituary
Audrey H. (Heath) Jones, 81, of Broad Top City, passed away on October 12, 2018 at her home.
Born on June 28, 1937, in Broad Top City, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Roberta (Taylor) Heath.
On July 19, 1958 in McVeytown, she was united in marriage to John D. Jones who preceded her in death on July 10, 2009.
She was a self employed cosmetologist in her home for approximately 60 years and had also worked as a telephone operator and was a caregiver to many over the years.
In 1955 she graduated from Robertsdale High School and then from Adele Allen Beauty School.
She was a lifetime member of the R.W.& BT. Vol. Fire Co. where she was on the board of directors and was a past treasurer of the fireman’s relief fund.
Surviving are a daughter, Denise Jones of Seabrook, MD, a sister, Isabelle Miller of Hustontown, a brother Glenn Heath of Saxton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters, Valeria Moser and Peggy DeLuca and brothers, William and Herman Heath.
A memorial service will be held on Friday October 19, 2018 at the Broad Top City Church of God at 11 AM with Pastor James Patterson officiating.
Interment will take place in the Broad Top City I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
