Benjamin David Rogers, 72, of Saxton, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Born in Huntingdon on December 28, 1951, a son of the late Kenneth and Arlene (Jones) Rogers.
He was a 1969 graduate of Tussey Mt. High School. was of the Christian faith, and was a member of the Six Mile Run American Legion.
During his life he enjoyed going to Texas hunting, old westerns, and Penn State Football. He retired from Containment Solutions in Mount Union in 2013.
On February 21, 1987, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth (Legg) Rogers who survives at their home.
Also surviving are a daughter, Rebekah Rogers, and husband, Tyler Miller, a granddaughter, Maryellen Miller, a sister, Diane Bivens, wife of Ronald, 8 nieces and nephews, and 9 great-nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Rogers.
Friends will be received on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10 AM also at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Speranza Animal Rescue or to the Six Mile Run American Legion.
