Bernard T. Putt, 92, of Saxton, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Village at Morrisons Cove in Martinsburg.
Born in Saxton on July 4, 1933, a son of the late Bernard C. and Mary (Kurucz) Putt.
He was a 1951 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School and then served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955.
On June 10, 1955 in Winchester, Va. he was united in marriage to Shelby Jean (Geier) Putt who preceded him in death on May 28, 2022. During his working life he was a machinist by trade and then after retirement he enjoyed hanging out with the gang at NAPA.
Surviving are daughters, Jennifer , wife of Patrick Black, and Kathryn "Katie", wife of Daniel Lee, grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Jennafer, wife of Cody Snyder, great grandchildren, Amelia Dibert, Gabriel Putt, Charles Snyder, and Shelby Snyder, siblings, Paul Putt, husband of Wilma, John Frank Putt, husband of Darcy, Donna, wife of Jim Hess, Beverly Wyles, and Peggy, wife of Barron Whited.
Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Helsel, Jean Patterson, Grace Johnson, Janet Neville, Judy White, and Jack Putt.
A private family interment will be held at Grand View Cemetery, Saxton, PA.
