Betty Donahue Obituary
Betty Louise (Gracey) Donahue, 94, of Waterfall, passed away in Johnstown on Saturday, August 15, 2020.
Born in Enid, PA on January 6, 1926, a daughter of the late, William Raymond and Velma Ruth (Henry) Gracey.
On June 10 1955, she was united in marriage to Riley Donahue Jr. who preceded her in death on December 8, 1993.
She was a 1949 graduate of Eastern Nazarene College and then became a first grade teacher at William Smith in Huntingdon from 1949-1955, and then at Woodland Hills District until her retirement in 1983 as well as being a homemaker.
Following her retirement, her remaining years were spent at her childhood home in Waterfall. She attended the Robertsdale Church of God.
She is survived by a son, Riley Donahue III, who is a member of the Merchant Marines. Also surviving are many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Phyllis Robinson and Doris Howard, and brothers, Robert, John, and Edward.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Robertsdale Church of God from 10-11 AM. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM.
The church request the use of masks and for attendees to practice social distancing.
At the request of the deceased there are to be no flowers sent, however she has requested memorial contributions to the Robertsdale Church of God, P.O. Box 38, Robertsdale, PA. 16621.
