Betty L. (Metz) Leamer

Betty L. (Metz) Leamer, 81, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Huntingdon, passed away on September 3, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.
Born in Joller, Pa. on November 6, 1938, a daughter of the late Clayton Sylvester and Phoebe Jane (Hesley) Metz.
She was a 1957 graduate of Robertsdale High School and worked as a real estate agent for Century 21 and was of the Protestant faith.
Her enjoyment in life included shopping, visiting the Broad Top on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, and attending the Robertsdale High School Alumni Banquet.
She was recently widowed to Mark Leamer on September 1, 2019.
Surviving are the following family members, daughters, Apryle (Hinish) Suvak, wife of Joe of Independence, OH, Dayna (Hinish) Collins, wife of Gary, of Georgetown, TX, son Eric Hinish, husband of Tracy of Hollidaysburg, PA, grandchildren, Joey, Jordan, Josh, Trey, Samantha, great grandchildren, Ella, Lilly, and Abby, as well as other numerous extended family members.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Emma Gene Sitch, John Metz, and Donald Metz.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 1 PM at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Broad Top City, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the donors local chapter of either, Juvenile Diabetes, Autism Awareness, or the Humane Society.
