Bonnie Lee Watson, 73, of Pennknoll Village, formerly of Saxton and Broad Top City, passed away at the Village on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Born in Buffalo, New York n March 2, 1951, she was a daughter of the late George "Judge" and Jacqueline (Sherlock) Watson.
She was a graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and worked at the Cove She Co. in Martinsburg and Quality Sewing factory in Saxton. She was of the protestant faith and was an active member of the Broad Top City Church of God and their "Golden Girls" group, as well as the Saxton Senior Center.
Surviving are siblings, Robin Chadwick, wife of Dennis, George Watson, husband of Jennifer, and Lori Ann Kunz, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who adored her very much and she also adored them, and a brother in law Douglas Hoover. Her family was her pride and joy.
Alon with her parents, she was preceded in death by her fiancée and companion of over 30 years, Jack Benny Lavelle, sister, Karen Ann Watson, a sister Susan Renee Hoover.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11 AM also at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
