Brenda F. Folk, 77, of Six Mile Run, passed away on November 20, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania on April 27, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. Seager and Dorothy (Fox) Seager.
Brenda was united in marriage to the late John Joseph Folk on April 1, 1967. She is survived by their three children, Julie (Folk) Scritchfield, Jennifer Folk and Jeremy Folk; four grandchildren Jason Scritchfield, Zachary Folk, Emma Scritchfield and Hannah Folk; and two great grandchildren Terry Folk and Chloe Scritchfield.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph and siblings Ann Marie, Mary Jean and Gary as well as her niece Mitzi Bradley and son-in-law Brian Scritchfield.
She retired from the Bedford County Assistance Office. She served on the Tussey Mountain School Board as well. Brenda enjoyed gardening, canning, crafting and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church where she served in the Rosary Society and the Food Pantry.
A memorial mass will be held by the family at the Immaculate Conception Church at a later date.
