Carol Zimmerman, 77, of Hopewell, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 16, 2020
Born in Finleyville on September 28, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Grace (Evans) Smith.
She was the widow of the late Allen Zimmerman, was of the Protestant faith, and was primarily a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Allen Zimmerman, husband of Lisa of Roaring Spring, a daughter, Theresa Zimmerman of Hopewell, siblings, Twilla Mae Frew, Maryland, Janice wife of Perry Cabot, Virginia, Velma, wife of David Swope, Finleyville, Cindy Stough, Riddlesburg, Wilma Lee wife of Danny Tauton, Florida, Rhonda Smith, Hopewell, Bob Smith, husband of Carolyn, Hopewell, Victor Smith, Claysburg, and Warren Smith, husband of Lois, Huntingdon, along with grandchildren, Berneda Cox, wife of Kurtis, Amanda Zimmerman, and fiancé Isaac Little, great grandchildren, Rowen Zimmerman and Hunter Cox, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Roy, Kenneth, Don Allen, and Tim Smith.
A celebration of life will be planned in the future due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Interment took place in the Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery, Hopewell.
