Charles Richard George

Charles Richard George, 89, of Annandale, Va. passed away on Saturday February 15, 2020 at the Burke Health and Rehabilitation Center, located in the Heatherwood Retirement Community.
Born in Phillipsburg, PA. on March 30, 1930, a son of the late Robert H. and Madeline (Carlson) George.
He was united in marriage to Emma Mae (Felker) George in January of 1960. Mrs. George survives in Virginia.
He was a 1949 graduate of Robertsdale High School and then from Williamsport Tech in Tool and Dye making. He worked as a quality control inspector in the Aero-Space Industry. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Mechanic Work because there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.
Along with his wife he is survived by sisters, Virginia Ruth (George) King and Janet Lou (George) Donaldson, brothers, Thomas George, husband of Linda, James George, and Kenneth George, sister in law Ruth George, and special friends, Jarlene Phelps and family. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Bruce George and a brother, William Wesley George.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11 AM with Pastor Todd Christine officiating at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc.
Friends will be received on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6-8 PM and again on Friday one hour prior to the service at 11AM.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA. 16621.
