Charles May Obituary

Charles Cook May, 79, of Robertsdale, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
Born in Broad Top City on July 26, 1941, a son of the late Harry W. and Mary C. (Cook) May.
On February 17, 1995, he was united in marriage to Lisa J. May who survives at their home.
Also surviving are daughters, Charlene Weitzel and Shana May, sons, AM2 Catlan J. Lovin of the US Navy, and Charles D. May of the US Marines, brothers, Harry W. May Jr., husband of Evelyn, and Brian D. May, husband of Diana, sisters, Patricia Altobelli and Judy D. Wright, wife of Sam, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Apryle M. Taylor a Major in the US Air Force.
He was a 1959 graduate of Robertsdale High School and a 1962 graduate of Thaddius Stevens. He was a member of the Broad Top Area Sportsman’s Association and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with all his children and family.
Funeral services will be held at the Saxton United Methodist Church, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:30 AM. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. If you plan on attending any of these services, please follow the recommendations set forth by the CDC regarding Covid-19 by practicing social distancing and face coverings.
