Claudia K. Brindle, 75, of Broad Top City, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Westminster Woods in Huntingdon.
Born in Huntingdon on August 8, 1948, a daughter of the late John H. and Marjorie (Black) Neville.
She was a 1967 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brindle, brothers, Robert “Cook” Neville, Herb Neville, Denny Neville, and Tommy Neville, a niece Tommi Ann Morningstar a nephew Troy Killian, and sisters-in-laws, Dena Neville and Shirley Neville.
Surviving are siblings Agnes Neville, Joan, widow of Earl “June” Diehl, Wanda, widow of Fred Pederson, brothers, Gene, widower of Janet Neville, Dan, husband of Colleen Neville, Bill, husband of Cindy Neville, and John Wayne, husband of Sandy Neville, a special nephew Josh Miller, a sister-in-law, Cindy Neville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was the Godmother of John, Jodi, and Troy Killian.
Her employment history included, Martinsburg Shoe Factory, Wise, Gimbles in Harrisburg, Claudia Footwear, Quality Manufacturing, Seven Points Marina, Bickles and most recently worked for Head Start driving bus and cooking. She was active with the auxiliary units at the Saxton VFW and the Broad Top American Legion. She was a member of the Broad Top City Boro Council and chaired the hometown hero flags.
Friends will be received on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 3 to 5 PM. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation starting at 5 PM, with Pastor Ron Wilson officiating.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
