David Love

David Norvel Love, 60, of Saxton, passed away at home on October 4, 2023.

Born on August 7, 1963 in Bryn Mawr, he was a son of the late Joseph and Alice (Hubert) Love.

He started his working career as a young teen and spent most of his life as the owner/operator of a successful tree care business in Downingtown, PA. He came to the Raystown area over many years for leisure and eventually moved here to reside.

He was devoted to his family and known for his friendly personality and kind heart. He enjoyed talking to anyone and everyone and always had knowledge of the subject at hand. He held a membership at the Saxton VFW where he often enjoyed socializing with many great friends he made over the years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, and riding horses. He was also an avid book reader with a keen interest in history especially of our local area.
 

Surviving are wife, Jessica (Thompson) Love, stepsons, Lucas and Cohen, and his son, Billy Love.
 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Love.
