David Lee Rickabaugh, 57, of Robertsdale, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg.
Born in Huntingdon on July 29, 1961, he was a son of the late Clifford Rickabaugh and Justine (Scitticatt) Rickabaugh who survives in Robertsdale.
He was united in marriage to Gwendolyn (Youngblood) Rickabaugh on November 21, 1992 at the Robertsdale Church of God. Mrs. Rickabaugh survives at their home.
He was a graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and was self-employed in construction and home remodeling.
He was a member of the of the Saxton Sportsmen Assn. and enjoyed cars, camping, fishing, hunting and BBQ’s in the back yard.
Surviving along with his wife and mother are a daughter, Nykki Scheffey, wife of Nate, sons, David Rickabaugh and fiancée Kristian Drenning, Kaleb Rickabaugh and companion Ashley Hall, sisters, Wanda, Wife of Raymond Swope, and Mary Ann Furry, wife of Tom, brothers, Clifford Rickabaugh, husband of Kathy, Richard Rickabaugh, and Brian Rickabaugh, husband of Sandra K., a niece Anna Hess wife of Mike, was reared with David in the Rickabaugh Home. Also surviving are grandchildren, Kenna, Colton, Rylyn, Emma, Lyssa, Addy, Everly, Greyson, Xavier, Kaite, and Kam, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Chester Rickabaugh.
Friends will be received on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 3-5 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 1 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested the memorial contributions be made to the Broad Top City Cemetery Assn. Perpetual Care Trust Fund, P.O. Box 100, Broad Top City, PA. 16621.
