Deirdre Grimes Obituary
Deirdre M. "Dee Dee" (Oswald) Grimes, 56, of Finleyville, passed away at home on the morning of March 25, 2020.
Born in Norristown, PA on March 10, 1964, she was a daughter of Janice (Snyder) Oswald Klinepeter and the late Thomas Joseph Oswald.
On Decemeber 31, 1999, she was united in marriage to David L. Grimes at the Finleyville Union Church where she was a member.
She is survived by her husband, David Grimes, her mother, Janice Klinepeter, wife of Dwight, Brother, Jeffrey Oswald, husband of Anita, sister, Deanna Miller, wife of Jack, sister, Denice Geissinger, wife of Lee, brother and sister in laws, Jim, Joy, Bonnie, Adina, and Wanda, step children, Michael Grimes, Jamie Grimes, and Julie Morales, wife of Juan, grandchildren, Devon Oswald, Aaliyah and Kameron Morales, Lania, Rosalyn, Brandon, Gracey, and Robert Davis III, Mason Grimes, and Isabella Skye, great grandchild, Dustin Lynn Oswald, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Joseph Oswald, and a son Dustin Eugene Oswald.
She worked as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed making quilts, Easter Baskets and other crafts. She also enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, having family get togethers, and riding motorcycles. She loved her dogs and other pets.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her MTM (more than mostest) which was common for her to say. She has now gone to be with her angel in the sky.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 11 AM with Pastor Tim Mcintyre officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
