Dennis Fred Drenning

Dennis F. Drenning, 89, of Six Mile Run, passed away at his home on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Born in Wood, PA on May 4, 1935, a son of the late R. Fred and Madeline L. (Sheeder) Drenning.

He was united in marriage to Janet A. (Chamberlain) Drenning on June 25, 1955. Mrs. Drenning preceded him in death on August 17, 2023.

During his life he was a truck driver and was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God.

Surviving are children, Karen Griffith, wife of Sonny, Kimberlee Smith, wife of Vernon, D. Christopher Drenning, husband of Stephanie, and Sandra Alverson, wife of Al. Also surviving are grandchildren, Marcus Stevenson, husband of Rebecca, Brooke Stevenson, Lauryn Johnson, wife of Brad, Brandon Drenning, great grandchildren, Marcus Stevenson, Bryce Stevenson, Quinnton Stevenson, Gia Mae Johnson, Jase Johnson, Jacob Rutters, Sisters, Audrey, Diana, Ruth Ann, Cathy, Becky, Brothers, Douglas and Alan, and lifelong friend, Linda McElwee.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

A private family graveside service will be held at Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run, PA.
