Denny "Jim" Neville,85 , of Broad Top City, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, PA
Born in, Broad Top City on August 1, 1932, a son of the late Marjorie V. (Black) and John H. Neville.
He was united in marriage to Shirley Virginia (Conover) Neville on February 13, 1955 which produced a 63 year marriage. Mrs. Neville preceded him in death on April 1, 2018.
He was a graduate of Robertsdale High School and later retired from AT&T where he made underwater cables.
He was a member of the Watson and Black American Legion Post 126 in Broad Top City, and had also served on the Broad Top City Boro Council for many years and was affiliated with the Broad Top City Church of God.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict as a Corporal.
Surviving are two daughters, Dawn Garlock and Danielle Russell
four sons Thomas, husband of Susana Neville, James Runk, Russell Runk, Nicolas Runk, four sisters, Agnes Neville, Joan, widow of Earl "June" Diehl, Wanda, wife of Fred Pederson, Claudia, wife of Jim Brindle, five brothers, Gene, widower of Janet Neville, Tom, husband of Cindy Neville, Dan, husband of Colleen Neville, Bill, husband of Cindy Neville, John Wayne, husband of Sandy Neville who was reared in Denny's home.
He is also survived by Grandchildren, Connor and Jonathan Neville and Sarah and Steven Miller, aslo surviving is a special caregiver, Heather Shimer.
He is also survived by Mike Neville, husband of Karen, and Vicki Miller who were reared in the Neville Home. He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert "Cook" Neville and Herb Neville, a nephew, Troy Killian and a niece Tommi Ann Morningstar.
Funeral services will be held at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Broad Top City, PA. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 5 PM, friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions and be made to either the Broad Top City I.O.O.F. Cemetery or the Broad ToP City Church of God.
