Don Smith Obituary

Don Alan Smith, 68, of Hopewell, passed away at his home on Monday, January 13, 2020 following a brief illness.
Born in Finleyville on April 2, 1951, he was a son of the late Melvin Thurman and Grace Mildred (Evans) Smith.
On February 20, 1988, he was united in marriage to Vera Mae (Duvall) Smith at the Riddlesburg Bible Church. Mrs. Smith survives at their home.
He worked for New Enterprise Stone and Lime for 37 years and had also drove school bus and Worked for Broad Top Township.
He attended the Finleyville Church and enjoyed hunting and working on cars.
Along with his wife of 31 years he is also survived by three children, five grandchildren, four brothers, and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 1-3 PM with a funeral service at 3 PM with Pastor Marion Foor officiating at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Broad Top City.
