Donald Keefer Obituary
Donald Eugene Keefer, 77, of Broad Top City, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 20, 2020 following a lengthy illness.
Born in Mt. Pleasant, PA. on August 1, 1943, a son of the late LaVerne (Slonecker) and Grant Keefer Jr.
He was united in marriage in 1988 to Nancy (Ross) Keefer which produced a 32 year marriage. Mrs. Keefer survives at home.
He was a 1961 graduate of East Huntingdon High School and attended Penn State University for agriculture.
He was self-employed in the construction field and was the co-founder of the Classy Chassis Car Club and was a member of various other car organizations.
Along with his wife he is survived by the following family, Sons, Randy, husband of Lori Keefer of Columbus, OH, Ron, husband of Darla Keefer of Stafford, VA, Daughters, Lisa Argiro Butler, wife of Brian of Mt. Pleasant, PA, Crystal Mohlman, wife of Brian of Broad Top City, PA., Grandchildren, Alfred and Amber Argiro, Randi, wife of Neil Osborne, Cecilia, Jill, Olivia Keefer, Graham Mohlman, husband of Madi, Gabrielle, wife of Mitchell McDonald, Dylan Keefer, Dustin Butler, 3 great granddaughters, and a brother, Alan Keefer, husband of Joy of Cape Coral, FL, as well as the family pet, Chloe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Phillip and Gary Keefer and an infant sister.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1 PM at the Robertsdale Church of God with Pastor Jared Fields officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service from 12 -1 PM.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
Those planning on attending will be asked to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC, the State of Pennsylvania, and the church regarding the Covid-19 pandemic by wearing masks and social distancing.
