Donna Hoover Obituary
Donna Lee Hoover, 58, of Saxton, formerly of Portage, passed away on September 10, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown.
Born in Johnstown on July 30, 1961, a daughter of the late Goldia L. F. (Hodge) and Richard H. Wilson Jr.
On July 30, 2016 she was united in marriage to Douglas W. Hoover Sr. at the Saxton First Church of God by the late Pastor Steve Oberman. Mr. Hoover survives at their home.
Surviving along with her husband are children, Doug Hoover Jr. of Martinsburg, Matthew Hoover of Rockhill, Apryle Hoover of Saxton, Sherri McMullen of Hustontown, and Nickey Crawford of Ft. Myers, Fl. And a step daughter Heidi Richardson. Also surviving are sisters, Deb, wife of Don S. Kelly Jr, Cindy, widow of Rick George, and Melinda, wife of Mike Nicholson, all of Portage, a brother, Richard, husband of Nikki of Blue Knob, Mother and Father In-Law, Gilbert and Nancy Hoover of Saxton, as well as 25 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, best friend Phyllis and her faithful companion dog, Fritci, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Randy Miller, and three sons, Shawn, James, and Thomas Smith and a step-son, Randy Miller Jr.
She worked as a nurses aid and a seamstress. She enjoyed setting on her porch and watching the fields as well as loved spending time and sports and the outdoors with her family.
Friends will be received on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Raven Run Church of the Brethren from 1-2 PM with a funeral service following at 2PM with Pastor Allen Baker officiating.
Interment will take place in the St Luke’s Cemetery, Saxton, PA.
