Duane E Kreider

Duane E. Kreider, 54, of Shade Gap, passed away on November 9, 2024 at Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, PA.

Born in Huntingdon on February24, 1970, a son of the late Kay Strayer.

He was a 1988 graduate of Southern Huntingdon High School, and worked as a welder at JLG in McConnellsburg and formerly at Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove. He was of the Protestant faith and loved to hunt and work on guns.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Judy (Lantz) Kreider whom he been with for 35 years, step-son, Dustin Christoff and fiancée Angel Spenetti,

2 step grandchildren, Donta Christoff and Cameron Trice both of Mt. Union, brother, Ernest "Sonny" Krider Jr., husband of Stormy of South Carolina, sisters, Melissa Walker, wife of Ronald of Three Springs, and Marie Crawford of Lancaster County, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Jimmy Faus, a brother in law, Rick Crawford, an aunt, Patsy Engle, and an uncle, Thomas Gilbert.
