Elwood Steven Bock, 96, of Robertsdale, passed away on January 7, 2024 at the Village at Morrisons Cove.
Born in Robertsdale, PA. on May 26, 1927, a son of the late William and Jeannie (Neuder) Bock.
He served his country in the United States Marie Corps. during World War II, was a member of the American Legion Post 126, VFW Post 4129, enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching ballgames, and was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God. During his life he worked as a truck driver while in New Jersey and as an equipment operator after moving back to Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his wife Doris (Miller) Bock, children, Steven (Sue) Bock, Madeline (Bob) Yacono, Valerie (Gerald) Rizzo, Jeannine Breeden, a brother, Frank Bock, step-children, Mike (Cathy), Mark, and Kirby Raley, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a sister-in-law Donna Miller, who was his caregiver.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon, brothers, Richard, William, Clyde, and a sister Martha.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services held. Burial will take place in the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs.
