Emile DeCamp Obituary
Emile August DeCamp, 92, of Three Springs, passed away on Tuesday November 3, 2020 at Aristacare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.
Born in Robertsdale on January 3, 1928, he was a son of the late, August Arthur and Amy D. (Foor) Decamp.
He was united in marriage to Patricia A. (Brown) DeCamp on July 29, 1950. She preceded him in death on July 28, 2016.
He was a graduate of Orbisonia High School and was a welding supervisor at Letterkenny Army Depot for 35 years and had also cut and hauled paperwood.
Since 1992 he was an amateur radio operator and enjoyed talking with fellow radio operators.
Surviving are a son, Fred R. DeCamp of Lewisberry, PA, A daughter, Karen S. Brown, wife of Michael of Cassville, PA, granddaughters, Rachelle S. Skipper of Robertsdale, Kaitlynne E. Brown and Bethany M. Brown both of Cassville, PA.
Two brothers, Jim DeCamp, husband of Virginia, of Shirleysburg, PA, and Lanny DeCamp, husband of Ginger, of Virginia, also survive.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters, Almeda (DeCAmp) Booher, and Nellie DeCamp.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, as well as family vacations to the Delaware Seashore, and spending time with his granddaughters.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family has chosen not to hold services at this time and will announce a celebration of life at a later date.
Interment will take place in the Tree Springs Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.
