Emily Carol (Brown) Everhart

Emily Carol (Brown) Everhart, 87, of Waterfall, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Lancaster.
Born December 17, 1931 in Manns Choice, she was the daughter of the late Kie and Jessie (Whetstone) Brown.
On January 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to John R. Everhart, Sr. who preceded her in death on March 9, 2007.
She attended Saxton-Liberty High School graduating in 1949 and was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed growing vegetable and flower gardens, canning, and baking Christmas cookies. She made hand woven rugs on her loom and braided rugs by hand. She attended the New Grenada Church of God.
Surviving are three sons, John and wife Cathy of Bedford, James and wife Karen of Maytown, and Edwin and wife Phyllis of Manheim, a sister, Betty Baughman of Saxton as well as 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, Kie, Victor, Glen, Ken, and three sisters, Hilda, Norma, and Ann.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. at 11 AM with Pastor Ken Cornelius officiating.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 6-8 PM and again on Tuesday from 10 AM until the hour of the service.
Interment will take place in the Grandview Cemetery, Saxton, PA.
