Gary L. Ross

Gary L. Ross, 76, of Hopewell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2023 with his loving wife Linda (Ritchey) Ross, and family by his side.

Born on December 19, 1946, in Huntingdon, PA; a son of the late George W. and Frances (Boggs) Ross.

He was joined in holy matrimony to Linda (Ritchey) Ross on October 16, 1964, in Hagerstown, MD, celebrating 58 years of marriage.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three daughters; Tina Burke, wife of Dave of Hopewell, Jeanette Freeman, wife of Mike of Everett, and Kerry Beck, wife of Gene of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Zachary Burke, Kristen (Burke) Hoover, wife of Lucas, Jenna and Megan Freeman, Jessika Brantner, Sebastian, Zachary, and Anastasia Beck, as well as a great grandson, Roman Steele Hoover and a sister, Doris (Ross) Lynch and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Ross, and a sister, Sharon (Boggs) Cogan.

Gary attended the Scotland School for Veterans in Scotland, PA and then graduate from Tussey Mt. High School Class of 1964. He was employed by Carpenters Union Local #2274.

He was of the Brethren Faith and attended the Grace Community Church in Everett, PA.

He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, carpentry, preaching, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchild, and serving the Lord.
