Georgia Jean (McMullen) Frederick

Georgia Jean Frederick, 85, of Cassville, passes away at her home on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

Born in Robertsdale, Pa. on October 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles D. and M. Grace (Wilson) McMullen.

On November 23, 1957 in Huntingdon, PA. she was united in marriage to H. Eugene Frederick. Mr. Frederick preceded her in death on December 22, 2008 having celebrated 51 years of marriage.

She was a graduate of Robertsdale High School, was primarily a homemaker, and attended the Trough Creek Community Church.

Surviving are sons, Steven A. Frederick, husband of Tamie, Broad Top, PA., David D. Frederick, husband of Patty, Cassville, PA., grandchildren, Jason Frederick, Broad Top, PA, Chad Gambol, husband of Kelly, Broad Top, PA, Shannon Gambol, Davenport, FL, Paul Gambol, husband of Kaylin, Broad Top, PA, Ashlee Frederick, Cassville, sisters, Shirley Love, Palmyra, PA, Verna Musser, Six Mile Run, PA, Jane Reihart, wife of Robert, Belleville, PA, Sharon Lowe, wife of Seibert, Loganville, PA, Patricia Young, wife of Kurt, Breezewood, PA. as well as great grandchildren, David, Kelsey, Torie, Isiah, Adelyn, Lydia, and a buddy Landon.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Amy Sue Frederick, a brother, Dean McMullen, a sister, Esther Huston, and a great granddaughter, Amelia Jean Gambol.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11 AM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Patrick Traxler officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 6-8 PM also at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cooks, PA.
