Obituary

Harry F. Harshbarger Jr., 84, of Cooks, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
Born in Smithfield Township, Huntingdon Co. on February 23, 1938 , a son of the late, Harry F. and Fannie E. (Westover) Harshbarger.
On October 5, 1977 in Winchester Va, he was united in marriage to Vivian M. (Everhart) Harshbarger who survives at their home.
Also surviving are daughters, Dawn E. Thompson of McConnellstown, and Vicki Jo Harsbarger of Mt. Union, a son, Lynn H. Harshbarger of Cassville, A sister, Judith Magruder of Great Fall, MT, and a brother, Gary D. Harshbarger of Duncannon, as well as 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was a graduate of Huntingdon High School and Penn State University, was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and had worked for ELCO, JGR, and HCCTC.
He was a lifetime member of both the NRA and the Broad Top Area Sportsmans Club.
At the request of the deceased, no services will be held.
