Hartman W. Black, 73, of Six Mile Run, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his home.
Born on June 13, 1945 in Six Mile Run, he was a son of the late Hartman O. and Mary Ann (Katchee) Black.
He was united in marriage to Janice I. (Singer) Black on September 20, 1991 in Annapolis Md. Mrs. Black survives at home.
Also surviving are the following family members, daughters, Lisa Foreman Ricketts, Brandi Black, fiancé of Trevor Hollibaugh, Rosanna, wife of Darin Fleck, sons Rusty Singer, Mike Singer, Chris Singer, husband of Monica, and Ritchie Singer, Sisters, Amanda Black, Martha Rogel, Betty, wife of Gary Stiffler, Mary Rose Batten, Vera, wife of Levi Norris, Charlotte Montgomery, and a brother, Donald Black, husband of Angelita, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by infant brother George, Infant sister Minnie Pearl, and sisters, Helen, Grace, Geneva, and Loretta.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his lifetime friend Wayne Fessler.
His employment throughout life included JLG Industries, Pennlines, and Lake Raystown Resort. He was of the Protestant faith.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services held.
