Obituary
Helen Louise Barton, 82, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon Hospital.
Born in Roaring Spring on May 27, 1940, a daughter of the late William and Bertha (Hughes) Snyder.
Helen worked for R&R Vending for over 25 years and then for the Hopewell Senior Center where she enjoyed the young at heart games. She also enjoyed bowling and BINGO. She was an active life member of the Six Mile Run Vol. Fire Co. and was a member of the Kearney Union Church.
Surviving are a son, Brian Snyder and companion Lori, a daughter, Jackie Jenkins and companion Jim, grandchildren, Kelli and Magen Snyder, Carey, wife of Roger Salada, and Wendi Brumbaugh, great grandchildren, Alexis and Zachary Salada, Mykell and Brayden Smith, and Jayvien Brumbaugh, sisters, Donna Sparks and Kay Dodson.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Barton, a sister, Beats Thomas, brothers, John, Earnest, Bill, and Dick Snyder.
Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 1-3 PM at the Six Mile Run Vol. Fire Co.
