James A. Hinkle, 81 of Deposit, NY formerly of Saxton, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at his home.
He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth C. & Evaline E. (Garner) Hinkle; his first wife Florence (States) Hinkle and his second wife Lydia (Skues) Hinkle.
James is survived by his 6 children and their families, Harry, Robin, Donna, Linda, Rita, and Evaline Hinkle; and siblings, George, Wayne, Kathleen, Betty Mae, and Janet.
James was known as “the old man on the hill”. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Following a private family viewing at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, 5010 Railroad Ave. Broad Top City, PA, on Saturday, October 10, a public graveside service will be held at Flocker Cemetery, Saxton, PA, at 11:30 AM  
The family will also receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 4 to 6pm.
Arrangements are jointly being handled by the Hennessey Funeral Home, Deposit NY, and the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc, Broad Top City, PA.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James’s name to any Rescue Dog Charity of one’s choice.
