Janet “Citty” (Chamberlain) Drenning

Janet “Citty” Drenning, 85, of Six Mile Run, passed away at UPMC Altoona Hospital on August 17, 2023.

Born in Plymouth, PA, on September 29, 1937, a daughter of the late Phillip and Kathleen (Lore) Chamberlain.

On June 25, 1955 she was unite4d in marriage to Dennis F. Drenning who survives at their home.

She was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God and worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Along with her husband, she is survived by daughters, Karen wife of Dennis Griffith, Kimberlee wife of Vernon Smith, Sandra wife of Al Alverson, a son, D. Christopher Drenning, husband of Stephanie, grandchildren, Marcus Stevenson, husband of Becky, Brooke Stevenson, Lauryn, wife of Brad Johnson, Brandon Drenning, great grandchildren, Bryce Stevenson, Markcus J. Stevenson, Quinn Stevenson, Jacob Rutters, Gia Mae Johnson, Jase Johnson.

She loved to cook and bake and has accumulated hundreds of cookbooks through the years.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date at the Robertsdale Church of God. Interment will be held privately at the Duvall Cemetery in Six Mile Run, PA.
