Jeff Ayers Obituary

Jeff Ayers of Curryville passed away at his home surrounded by love.
Jeff is survived by his wife Lora, with whom he spent 47 years sharing family, love, and laughter being united in marriage on April 3, at the Koontz Church of the Brethren. His daughters were his life: Betsy (Andy) Williams, Ashley (Jason) Helsel, and Marissa (Derek) Jabco. “He couldn’t ask for a better husbands”. In his words, “these grandbabies are just the best”, Nikolas Sell, who Jeff was so proud to tell everyone that he served this great country in the U.S. Air Force, Cece and Lainey Williams, Ryan, Reed, Aubrey Helsel, and Loran Jabco. They will have pappy’s love & memories with them forever.
He entered this world on July 29, a son of the late Donald and Lois Ayers and left us on November 12, 2019. He lived his life to the fullest.
Along with his wife and daughters, he is survived by a sister Bev Phillips, and brothers Gary and Steve. He was preceded in death by a brother Larry and a sister, Linda.
He was a 1973 graduate of Central High School and dedicated countless hours officiating all the local youth sports leauges, as well as flagging at the local race tracks.
At the request of Jeff, no public viewing or services will be held, A private family service was held on Saturday, November 16.
Jeff and his family request that no flowers be purchased for them, but to donate to your local youth sports league if you so desire.
