Jimmie L. Coy, 82, of Robertsdale, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at his home.
Born in Robertsdale on January 24, 1938, a son to the late David Edward and Frances Irene (Swartz) Coy.
On March 8, 1958, in Robertsdale, he was united in marriage to Linda (Abbott) Coy which produced a 62 year marriage. Mrs. Coy survives at home.
He was a founding and lifetime member of the Robertsdale, Wood, & Broad Top Fire Co., and was a member of the Cromwell Masonic Lodge in Orbisonia.
He was also a lifetime member of the Robertsdale Church of God, and was a heavy equipment operator for Penn Dot.
Along with his wife he is survived by 4 children, daughter, Debbie Park, wife of David, daughter, Donna Wright, wife of David, daughter, Darlene Coy and companion, Tommy, and a son, David Coy. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Peggy Coy and Jean Risbon, as well as grandchildren, Traci Chilcote, Amy Berkstresser, Chris Park, Dana Chilcote, Jordan Wright, great grandchildren Dylan Ramper, Jackson Chilcote, Averi Chilcote, Jayden Horton, Mason Chilcote, Camden Chilcote, Kasen Chilcote, Harper Chilcote, Hunter Berkstresser, Chase Berkstresser, great great grandchildren, Nicole and Dean Ramper, and his dog, Lucky.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Work and Deloris Rourke, and two brothers, Jackie and Donald Coy.
Due to the recent COVID-19 regulations and restrictions a memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date.
Private interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
