Joseph Aden Morrow

Joseph Aden Morrow Jr. 85, of Six Mile Run, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Donahue Manor in Bedford following a short stay.
Born in Puttstown on May 28, 1935, a son of the late Golda Mae Hinkle and Joseph A. Morrow Sr.
On February 14, 1954 at the First Church of God in Saxton, he was united in marriage to his wife of 67 years, Dorothy P. (Wolfe) Morrow. Mrs. Morrow preceded him in death on November 23, 2020.
Surviving are daughters, Darla and significant other Mike of Cumberland, MD, Dottie and significant other Steve of Six Mile Run, Sons, Paul, husband of Deborah of Clearville, Don and significant other Tammy of Burnside, John, husband of Traci of Robertsdale, Jeffery and friend Troy of New Orleans, LA, Mark of Dudley, and Joseph, Husband of Debbie of Six Mile Run.
Also surviving are 28 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Sarah Jane of Six Mile Run.
Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Gary and a daughter Marsha.
He was a 1953 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School where he excelled at sports being inducted into the Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. He owned and operated Hinkles Garage in Six Mile Run for 49 years being well known for his vehicle inspections and rebuilding transmissions.
He was a 32nd degree mason and was active in Mount Moriah Temple in Huntingdon, the Scottish Rite, the Jaffa Shrine, and the Tall Cedars, all of Altoona. He enjoyed collecting and restoring old tractors. He treasured his 1937 Massey Ford that his late son Gary rebuilt for him. His legacy of mechanical abilities will carry on with his sons and grandsons. His favorite scripture was Jeremiah 29:11.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Kearney Union Church, Six Mile Run, with Pastor Jerry Wright officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral service. A Masonic service will start the funeral at 2 PM.
Interment will take place in the Evans Cemetery, Six Mile Run, PA.
