Judith A. Bathavic, 74 of Broad Top City, formerly of Pennsville, NJ went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 8, 2022. She was in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family when she passed. Judy was born on October 20, 1947, the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl Rickabaugh. On October 11, 1965, she married her high school sweetheart, Thomas J. Bathavic Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Thomas Jr. and three children: Thomas III (Sallie) of Shippensburg, Brian (Alicia) of Etters, and Heather Szymborski of Carneys Point, NJ. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Samantha (Marcus) Roth, Brianna Bathavic, Thomas IV & Casey Bathavic, Brian (Emma) Szymborski Jr., Peyton Szymborski, and her grand-dog Teddy. Judy was delighted for the arrival of her first great-grandchild in March 2023. Sisters: Kathy (Dave) Drenning, Kimberly Drenning, Karen (Chris) Hollinger, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Rickabaugh Jr. Judy was a stay-at-home mom as she raised her children. She retired in 2000 from working part-time as a receptionist for Dr. Craig Quigley in New Jersey. After residing in New Jersey for 33 years, Tom and Judy returned to their hometown to build their dream home. Judy loved shopping, dancing, and traveling (especially cruising); however, the greatest love of her life was her family; spending time with her children & grandchildren and taking family vacations together. She would always go above and beyond to make every occasion special, creating the best memories for her family. Judy enjoyed sharing her passion of traveling with others by organizing group trips. Judy was a lifelong believer and Christ was her personal Savior. She was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God. Judy will be forever cherished in our hearts.
