Judy Kay (Gibson) Hiquet

Judy Kay (Gibson) Hiquet, 78, of Hollidaysburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Born in Altoona, PA on October 16, 1943, a daughter of the late Ernest Ray and Cora Mae (Caswell) Gibson.

On May 19, 1962, in Dudley, Pa, she was united in marriage to R. James Hiquet who preceded her in death on July 30, 2013.

She was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dudley, PA.

She is survived by sons, Robert J. Hiquet and Michael J. Hiquet, husband of Melissa, and daughter, Thressa M. Albright, wife of George. Also surviving are three grand sons, John Hiquet, Michael Hiquet Jr., and Alan Albright, as well as a great grandson, Julian.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother Ernest Ray Gibson Jr. and Carol Ann Galloway.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 9-11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held following at 11 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dudley, PA. with Father Mark Reid officiating.

Interment will take place in the Ave Maria Cemetery, Dudley, PA.
