June Martha (Folk) Williams, 83, of Defiance, PA. went to be with the Lord on June 20th, 2018 at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, PA.
Born April 17, 1935 in Six Mile Run, PA. a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Jenny Doris (Pleacher) Folk.
She was united in marriage to Gerald Joe Williams on December 1, 1951 in Cumberland, MD. Mr. Williams preceded her in death on January 20, 2011.
She is survived by the following family, Children, Joel Brian, husband of the late Pamela J. (Rightenour) Williams of Claremont, VA, Andrew Scott husband of Betty J. (Eichelberger) Williams of Defiance, Michael Wade, husband of Barbara T. (Brennan) Williams of Hampstead, NC., Gerald Jay Williams, of Saxton, PA., Josie Heather (Williams), wife of Andrew Dively of Woodbury, PA., and Joseph Daniel, husband of Jodie A. (Robertson) Williams of Imler, PA. Sisters, Miriam Kathryn "Kate" (Folk) Morgan of Lancaster, PA, and Edna Mae (Folk) Brewster of Gaithersburg, MD. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Sadie Sue.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Magdelin (Folk) Snyder, and brothers, John Sylvester Folk, Joseph Mathias "Dune" Folk, and Vaughn Henry "Dick" Folk.
During her life she enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, flowers, cooking, canning, pets, and spending time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
